Terms and Policies of the Institution
The following Terms and Policies are established to ensure a safe, respectful, and effective learning environment for all students, staff, and faculty members. By enrolling in or working with the institution, individuals agree to abide by these rules
1. Code of Conduct & Use of Facilities & Resources:
- • During the class, No entry inside the classroom without the student.
- • No Car parking at immediate of the gate as instructed by the Baridhara Society. In this regard, only dropping and picking up are requested.
- • 🎻 For Guitar & Violin students only: "Bring your own Instruments 🎸"
- • For 🥁 Drums, please bring Drums sticks including amps or cymbals.
- • 🎧 Wired Headphone with 3.5mm Jack is recommended to bring for Piano & Keyboard classes.
- • Books, staffs and writing tools are provided.
2. Leave & Attendance Policy
- • Leave Procedure: Leave requests must be submitted electronically (whatsapp) to the administration, preferably in advance (before a month). It can be granted once in a year
- • Re-enrollment: More than one month of leave needs re-enrollment and a fee will be assessed.
- • Lesson Plan: Though the students are conducted in a small group of students, their lessons are planned one to one with the Faculty so that if they remain absent in any session, they can resume their studies.
- • A month’s fees unpaid without any notices indicates the discontinuation of the student.
3. Academic Policy
- • Minimum Basic Level needs to be completed to peruse the certificate.
- • First Level Basic Duration: 6 months
- • Second Level Intermediate: 8 months to 1 year
- • Advanced Level – Infinite Duration
4. Fee Policy
- • Fees are collected in prepaid at the start of the months. The due date is mentioned.
- • No compensation is available for fees with the classes. Fees are paid in monthly basis.
Privacy & Data Protection
- • Confidentiality: Personal records of students and staff are confidential and will not be disclosed without consent, except where legally required.
- • Media Consent: The institution may use photographs or videos of students for promotional or educational purposes, unless written objection is provided.
- • Data Use: Digital data will be stored securely and used only for academic and administrative purposes.
Official Holidays & Institutional Breaks
- • The institution will remain closed on national public holidays as declared by the Government (e.g., Independence Day, Victory Day, Language Martyrs Day, etc.).
- • Religious holidays (Eid, Puja, Christmas, Buddha Purnima, etc.) will also be observed according to the official government calendar.
- • Special Holidays: The institution reserves the right to declare additional holidays for unforeseen events (e.g., national mourning, emergency closures, natural disasters).
- • Blue Note’s Yearly closing days are las Friday and Saturday of the year.
